The flight operations and communication and learning technologies of MAF uniquely impact people whose access to the Gospel, or to basic needs, is severely restricted. These technical tools are wielded with precision and effectiveness.

However, this technical ministry requires diligent administration behind the scenes.
The tools are expensive, the cargo is precious, and the resources are limited.

MAF urgently needs skilled accountants and finance managers who will join a dedicated team, using their talents to assure that records are clear and helpful, that planning is careful and realistic, to ensure MAF continues to be a wise steward of the gifts, talents, and resources God has given us.

Current Needs: (These positions are located overseas and require staff to raise prayer and fiancial partners who enable their work.)

   Urgent Need

Finance Manager Papua New Guinea(PNG): The finance manager will have oversight of all financial operations of MAF-PNG.  He/She will supervise the accounting office and tasks including monthly P&L, balance sheet and analysis of budget compliance, payroll, accounts receivable and payable, cash flow, and assist management in the annual budget process.  

Due to PNG law, applicants must be a member of a professional accounting society or association (such as CPA).  Applicants should also have a minimum of 3 years accounting experience with at least 2 years in management.  Aviation industry experience preferred.  Cross-cultural experience a strong plus.

This is a salaried position for a 12 month period.

West Democratic Republic of Congo : Finance Manager – Assure adequate financial accounting is accomplished for the WDRC operations, including budget preparation, reporting functions, coordinating government paperwork, and contracts with various organizaitons.  A mature person, who is a self-starter and can efficiently organize and run an office, will be a great asset to the work in WDRC.
